Section XIII: Iscariot

The Iscariot Agency is an unfavored group functioning within the Vatican, carrying out duties that include assassinations of heretics, terrorists, and the odd vampire of two. All of Iscariot's main members have cameos (or introductions?) in Hellsing's predecessor, Crossfire.

Names: Enrico Maxwell.
Age (in 1997): Unknown, assumed ~30.
Weapons: None.
Status: Bishop (in the beginning,) leader of Iscariot, Archbishop (after promotion.).
Power: None.
Relationships: Integral (rival,) Anderson (commander.)
Bio: Enrico has long been almost fated to be Iscariot's leader, growing up under Anderson's care in a Vatican orphanage, later typecasted as the Devil's Son for taking Iscariot's reigns. He is a snake-like man who can seem kind until scorned, and will then turn on you quickly. His hatred for Hellsing and Protestantism leads him to take Iscariot to London just as Millennium is attacking, to take advantage of the situation/chaos and kill as many Englishman as possible.

Names: Alexander Anderson, Angel Dust Anderson, Bayonettes Anderson, etc.
Age (in 1997): Unknown, assumed ~90 (if 40 in 1945.)
Weapons: Bayonettes, explosives and bayonette-lined chain, Biblical scriptures, Elena's Nail.
Status: (Retired) vampire hunter, caretaker/keeper at Vatican orphanage.
Power: Regeneration.
Relationships: Enrico (father figure, subordinate.)
Bio: Anderson has a deep compassion for abandoned (if not all) children, and raised Enrico, Heinkel and Yumiko in an orphanage run by the Vatican. He had long been fighting vampires before then, but retired to care for the kids. In 1997, he was called to arms again to deal with a vampire in Catholic Ireland, where he first ran into Hellsing, specifically Seras, Alucard and later Integral. Since his first quarell with Alucard, he and the No Life King have been intense rivals.

Bonus!: Anderson first appeared in a hentai comic of Hirano's called "Angel Dust," which is partly where he got his nickname "Angel Dust Anderson" from.

Names: Heinkel Wolfe.
Age (in 1997): ~25.
Weapons: Twin pistols.
Status: Assassin.
Power: None.
Relationships: Enrico (subordinate,) Yumiko (comrade in arms.)
Bio: Heinkel and Yumiko together run the side of Iscariot that deals with assassinating Italian terrorists and heretics. She was called to help in the fight in London, though her readiness to fight vampires is unknown, as she's never been known to have encountered any.

Names: Yumiko Takage, Yumie.
Age (in 1997): ~25.
Weapons: Katana.
Status: Assassin, Berserker.
Power: Dual Personality.
Relationships: Enrico (subordinate,) Heinkel (comrad in arms.)
Bio: On the surface, Yumiko is a gentle, loving Nun. Underneath, however, rages Yumie, a personality of extreme violence and lust for death. Yumiko is 'put to sleep' when Yumie's services are needed, and vice versa when the job is done. Yumiko is the only Asian character in Hellsing, and she weilds her katana with attacks that assume Japanese ancestry.

Names: Ricardo.
Age (in 1997): ~70
Weapons: None.
Status: Envoy of the Vatican, Enrico's advisor.
Power: None.
Relationships: Enrico (advisor.)
Bio: He came to Iscariot to tell Anderson that his assistance was needed in Ireland, and later attended a meeting between Enrico and Integral. His whereabouts since then are unknown
