Hellsing TV Series

Order 1: The Undead

We are first introduced to the Hellsing Organization through the routine silencing of a very low level vampire. Hellsing follows a suspect to his rather large estate, watching he and his 'date' enter. Unbeknowest to the man and his companion, the agent known only as Alucard is already there waiting for them. The vampire is slaughtered quickly and Alucard turns to make his leave ominously, leaving no trace of how he entered or when. Quickly, one can suspect more of him than is initially shown.

Once the vampire is slain, Alucard moves out to report back to his employer. The exchange is brief, only saying 'the target has been silenced' and then walks off, the car door he spoke into rolling up again. Later, Sir Integra Wingates Hellsing, leader of the Hellsing Organization, is given a report that a vampire is terrorizing a small town...and says she already has it covered with her single agent. She muses that her soldier is more than capable of dealing with the situation alone, and that no one should worry about it anymore.

Hellsing's second mission comes from the reported massacre in the village of Cheddar. At the scene, we find Seras Victoria, the 19 year old member of English Police Unit 'D-11.' Her co-workers and friends have been turned into ghouls by the vermin vampire priest they were all initially sent to take care of. Alucard appears again not long after and scares Seras off, running her clear to the church that the vampiric priest is waiting for her in. She falls prey to his tricks rather quickly and it's obvious she's no match.

While Seras is initially overwhelmed by the vampire's power, she sees a glimmer of hope in the appearance of the figure she'd just (ironically) run away in terror from. Alucard bursts into the scene casually and makes it known that the vampire is just cheap scum, worth nothing more than dirt. The vampire has his ghoul servants, the remains of D-11, 'kill' Alucard...and it's then that we are made away of Alucard's true self. He is a true vampire, and after regenerating in a mocking manner, proceeds to slaughter the ghouls around, and then the priest, at the cost of Seras' 'life.'

With a massive hole shot through her chest, Seras lays at Alucard's feet, death imminant. Alucard curiously asks her what she's going to do, and then proceeds to drain her; turning her into a vampire as well. Once finished, he carries her out to meet again with his employer, none other than Sir Integral herself. Integral isn't impressed by Alucard's actions, but agrees to let Seras join Hellsing's ranks under the guise that Alucard would teach her how to be a decent vampire, rather than one worth only the time it takes to pull the trigger on a silver-loaded gun.
